Dr. M. Poongothai, Professor—successfully developed a project titled “A Low-Cost System to Detect Insects in Mangoes.”
This innovative project was recognized as a Semi-Finalist in the prestigious AICTE Inventors Challenge 2023, organized by ARM India and
STMicroelectronics in collaboration with the G20 forum. Competing against 1,400 teams from across India, the project was shortlisted among
the top 40 teams for the Grand Finale, held at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida, Delhi, on 20th November 2023.
